It is tough to beat the excitement of a first time hunter or an outdoor enthusiast. Introducing a child into the great outdoors is something that cannot under-valued. To keep the outdoor traditions we love so much, strong – we need a flurry of new participants, and taking your child or any young hunter to a hunter safety clinic or course in 2013 is a great way to do your part. Hunter eduction is a big first step in getting youths hooked on hunting and the outdoors.
In a continued effort to reduce firearm accidents, the State of California requires all first time resident hunters, regardless of age, to complete hunter education training or pass a comprehensive equivalency test before purchasing a hunting license. Further, some states and countries require a Bow Hunter Education class if you intent to hunt with Archery equipment.
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife conducts training throughout the state. Each year approximately 30,000 students complete the state’s ten-hour minimum hunter education course. Statistics show hunter education training is a success.
We offer both the full length 10 hour traditional Hunter Education class as well as the shorter 4 hour Home Study/Internet class, as well as, the Traditional Bow Hunter Education Classes.
