Winter Ops in Mountainous Terrain

Consider this as a weekend bugout with your family. Survival topics will be presented and discussed/practiced throughout the weekend. This is a two day class combining mountainous terrain, vertical rock, water crossings and combat tactics while engaging live fire targets. Day 1 is skill building and practical’s, Day 2 continues, cumulating in a live fire “Hogan’s Alley” bugout woods walk. There will not be an overnight component specifically, but you may camp on site if you desire, esp if you want to see how your preps do (after all, you are carrying it, does it work for you?). If enough elect to camp, we will add an evening exercise. This class may be done as a one day standalone for Day 1. Day 2 may be also done as a standalone if you have solid mountain skills. -Technical rope skills for horizontal and vertical employment, knots, hitches, and slings as well as equipment rigging for both team and personal loads.
-Tactical movement as a small unit, communications, equipment rigging
-Navigation, map and compass, GPS skill sets
-Target location, evaluation, neutralization
-Survival skills of Fire, Shelter, natural Navigation, water purification and foraging
-and much more.
Bring/Wear: Comfortable clothing and footwear (dress for the weather, approx 2000′ to ‘4000 elevation), lunch and fluids, field gear, leather gloves, personal EDC, rifle, pistol, radio if you have one, 100 rounds of handgun and / or rifle ammunition each, compass and or a GPS, and anything else you may want to successfully make your way thru a bugout woods course with live fire targets/situations.
