SUMMARY:NOD's and Thermal
DESCRIPTION:This field class is to get you using your Night Observation Dev
 ice (NODS\, Night Vision) and Thermal devices in a field\, real-world envi
 ronment .  We will discuss pro's and con's of both devices as well as emp
 loyment and applicability.  A brief history of these devices and how they
  operate\,  along with discussion of any digital counterparts and their u
 ses/shortcomings.   Useful accessories that need to be explored will be 
 demonstrated and tried out to allow you the most out of your devices.\n\nT
 his class will discuss and demonstrate the properties of your clothing\, f
 ield gear\, etc to IR illumination. Do you glow in the dark?  Bring your 
 field gear and clothing to see how they perform.\n\nWe have a variety of e
 xercises and hiking activities to see just how well your devices work and 
 their limitations.  They are not the all-seeing eye of Modor.\n\nWe will 
 be in the field so dress appropriately.  Hiking/combat boots highly recom
 mended. BDU's or neautral clothing.  Snacks and Fluids always. Bring\, yo
 ur weapons\, field gear\, NOD's\, Thermals etc.  We will have some NOD's 
 and Thermals to try out or use for the class. This is not a shooting class
  so bring the ammo loadout you would normally patrol with.\n\nCall with an
