This class is for the new radio user who may be planning a communications instruction or is setting up equipment for an off grid community, team or group.
Equipment selection, antenna’s, improvised antenna’s, communications plan (signal operating instruction (SOI)), brevity codes, trigrams, one time pads and more. Sustainment, clandestine and guerilla communications concepts will be discussed.
This will be classroom and and will be fast paced. Radio if you have one, note taking materials (highly suggest rite in the rain products). We will have radios to borrow for the class if you do not have one. Do not go an buy a radio for the class as the class is to discuss pros and cons. Call if you do buy for advice first.
