Do you have a plan in case your cell phone doesn’t work and the internet is down? Can you contact your loved ones in a grid down situation. Can you and your team communicate at your bugout location or retreat? How about while patrolling? Can you make a field expedient antenna just to reach a little farther because you are out of range of the stock rubber duck antenna on your radio? This class is for the new radio user who may be planning a communications instruction or is setting up equipment for an off grid community, team or group. Equipment selection, antenna’s, improvised antenna’s, communications plan (signal operating instruction (SOI)), brevity codes, trigrams, one time pads and more. Sustainment, clandestine and guerilla communications concepts will be discussed. This will be both classroom and field and will be fast paced. Bring lunch, Multi tool and/or radio if you have one, dress for the outdoors, note taking materials (highly suggest rite in the rain products). Call with any questions.

We will supply radios if need along with all course materials.
