This is an intermediate training and how to use, or integrate your rifle into your defensive preparations. Our fire triangle has always been

“Shoot-Move-Communicate”.

While Accuracy will always be King, Speed does matter and Communicating is crucial. We will improve your accuracy while increasing your speed and presentation and getting rounds on target. Although the AR-15 platform is the most popular in this class, we only require that your rifle be semi-automatic, with a detachable box magazine, and be equipped with a sling. The techniques taught in this course are adaptable to a variety of long guns.

Training & Discussion will include:

Ballistics and zeroing to 300 meters

Shooting while moving

Shooting from barricades

Stop it to the malfunction

Immediate action procedures

Incapacitation techniques

Where Indicators & Common Breakage to be alert for

Catastrophic operational errors to avoid

Accessory selection, usage and placement

As we do in every course, we will address General & Specialized Maintenance, as well as issues regarding the use of Cover & Concealment, and engaging multiple aggressors

and much much more.

You will need:

Your tactical rifle with three mags & a sling, 200 rounds of ammunition (bring more if you want to shoot more), Magazine pouches, or Chest Rig, or your preferred method of carrying spare magazines. Lunch and Fluids, eye and ear pro.

A NOTE OF CAUTION.! Too Often I see people show up for training with brand new gear that they just purchased. By the end of the course they regret buying that last-minute gear because during the course they see and try out some other style that they like a whole lot more.

SO…. Before you spend your hard-earned money on any of the required equipment for this course such a slings or mag carriers etc., give us a call because we have a wide assortment of gear that you can try out during the training to help you decide what you want to purchase.

CALL AHEAD so we can make sure we bring the type of gear you need.
