Vehicle Tactics and Combat (VTaC) This will be the one day “Convoy” class.
57% of violent encounters involve a vehicle…. So let’s learn how to incorporate them into our fight.
Vehicle Tactics training involves an understanding of Protests, Riots, both legal and illegal vehicle traffic control checkpoints, ambushes – both static and rolling, how to fight from inside your vehicle, from outside while around your vehicle and how to combat an opponent located inside their vehicle, both stationary and moving. Understanding lets us have options when dealing with ambush and Traffic Control Points (TCP) appropriately.
How do you arrange your personnel, load-outs/equipment, vehicles etc. How do you communicate, select routes, arrange vehicles when stopped, and much more.
Do you know how to assume awkward positions or even shoot from them? Can you avoid or defeat an ambush if unable to avoid? How about shooting from a moving vehicle? If you are not comfortable with any of these, this hard to find class is a great opportunity for training!
Bring: Bring: Handgun (CCW Carry gun), rifle or shotgun, 200 rounds of handgun ammo, 200 rounds of long gun ammo if you bring a long gun, lunch, water. Multiple magazines and a method of carrying them. Armor vests are optional but if you normally use one, then bring it to train in.
Safety equipment: bring ballistic or safety WRAP AROUND glasses (there will be flying glass), Kevlar gloves or good combat or leather gloves, knee and or elbow protection (personal choice).
It is your choice as to whether you conceal carry, or if you go with overt battle rattle (plate carriers, etc) for this class, but remember, you are probably not going to have your tactical gear with you and will be with your family and your handgun when the worst happens. Long guns are optional, if you do bring a long gun bring 200 rounds of ammo.
